The author of Afakasi Half-Caste will offer poems from where the cultures of the South and Samoa meet, then discuss place, poetry, and fiction with Jessica Handler, Sams Distinguished Writer In Residence, 2023.

Students will come and test their knowledge against their fellow classmates on various topics ranging from grade school to college-level material. People can sign up to compete to win prizes.
