Do films have the power to break barriers, open minds, and transform lives? Discover the answer at the Africa Film Series, hosted by Dr. Obidoa and Sponsored by the Africana Studies Program. On March 29, we will delve into this question: What is the weapon of war that can be more powerful than bullets? Students, faculty, staff, and the public are welcome to join us in Stetson 251 as we watch and discuss “The City of Joy”, a film based on real-life events in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
