11.12.25 | 6:30pm - 8:30pm

Fire in the Blood tells the true story of the challenges associated with access to AIDS drugs in Africa and the global south in the 1990s — leading to the preventable deaths of at least 10 million people — and how a remarkable coalition of people came together to bring change. Shot on four continents and featuring contributions from global figures such as Bill Clinton, Desmond Tutu, and Joseph Stiglitz, the film offers insights into what it took to turn the tide and change the barriers to access to AIDS medication in Africa.
