Do films have the power to break barriers, open minds, and transform lives? Discover the answer at the Africa Film Series, hosted by Dr. Obidoa and sponsored by the Africana studies program and QuadWorks. On Oct. 23, students, faculty, staff, and the public are welcome to join us in Stetson 251 as we watch and discuss “Adu,” a film based on the true story about the global refugee crisis in Europe of African immigrants. Extra credit can be earned for diverse programs. Delicious refreshments will be served!
