Do films have the power to break barriers, open minds, and transform lives? Discover the answer at the Africa Film Series, hosted by Dr. Obidoa and Sponsored by the Africana Studies Program and Quad Works. On March 20th, students, faculty, staff, and the public are welcome to join us in Stetson 251 as we watch and discuss “Asmaa”, a film about a woman’s battle against the social prejudice that comes with having a positive HIV status. Delicious refreshments will be served!
