Battle of the Bears

Battle of the Bears, presented by MU Motion Moves, is Mercer’s ultimate campus wide dance competition! Teams of 4 or more will compete in a randomized bracket for the chance to become the Battle of the Bears Champion. You do not have to be part of a campus organization to participate. Gather your friends, classmates, teammates, or organization members and create your own team! No dance experience is required. Each team may be paired with a MU Motion Moves dance consultant who will work alongside your designated team leader to help choreograph and prepare your team for the competition. Teams will compete through three exciting rounds, including an Original Performance, a Choreography Challenge, and a final Audience Challenge where teams will put their creativity to the test with a surprise challenge selected by the audience. The event will feature a live host and DJ, and the winning team will receive a cash prize, championship trophy, and gift basket, along with the title and bragging rights of being the Battle of the Bears Champion!
