Mercer students, faculty, staff, and alumni are invited to a moderated conversation with Dr. Beverly Tatum on Mercer’s Macon campus. The conversation will include dialogue on Tatum’s award-winning book Why are all the Black Kids Sitting Together in the Cafeteria?
Masks are required. Social distancing must be maintained. The first 100 in-person attendees will receive an autographed copy!!!!!!
At 4:45 p.m., Willingham Auditorium will be open for those attending the event in person.
At 5:30-6:45 p.m., we will reaffirm our commitment to racial equality and justice for all people with a moderated conversation between Dr. Tatum and Dr. Ansley Booker, Office of Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives.
