Founders’ Day

2.3.27 | All Day

President Penny L. Elkins, Ph.D., addresses a packed auditorium at Mercer University's Founders' Day 2026 ceremony.

Founders’ Day is an annual event organized by the Student Government Association, during which notable alumni address the student body and share their experiences in life and at the University. In the mid-1990s, the Student Government Association revitalized Founders’ Day on the Macon campus, making it one of the most cherished traditions.
