Did you know that 2021 marks 40 years since the first official reporting of AIDS?
To recognize 40 years of progress and impact, Mercer Students Mark HIV @ 40 and the Global Health in Action Newsletter will host a virtual discussion panel on November 29 from 5:00 to 6:00 pm via Zoom.
Students will have the opportunity to learn more about HIV/AIDS and its intersection with human rights by hearing from Dr. Chinekwu Obidoa, associate professor of Global Health at Mercer, and Greg Harris, the Case Manager and Community Liason for Compass Cares and an HIV+ activist.
The code to join the Zoom meeting is 968 3280 9877. Please contact Parneeta Mohapatra at Parneeta.Mohapatra@live.mercer.edu with any questions.
