Mercer University will commemorate the memory of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. with its annual Living the Dream march and program on Friday in Macon. The march will begin at 3:30 p.m. at the bear statue in front of the University Center and proceed to Willet Science Center. A program featuring Warner Robins Mayor LaRhonda W. Patrick as the keynote speaker will follow at 4 p.m. in Willet Auditorium. Free T-shirts will be given to the first 100 registered students to arrive at the bear statue at 3 p.m.
