Start your Mercer journey by learning how to make your voice heard!
Mercer Votes will be tabling in all first-year residence halls during Opening Day move-in to help new students prepare for the upcoming primary elections and understand their voting options while attending college. Whether you’re registered in Georgia or another state, we’ll help you navigate the voting process, answer your questions, and connect you with nonpartisan resources so you can participate in elections with confidence.
At Mercer, civic engagement is an important part of being an engaged citizen and community member. We believe every student should have the information they need to make their voice heard, regardless of political affiliation.

Want to help? Upper-class students, faculty, and staff are invited to volunteer by staffing a table and welcoming new students to campus. If you’re interested in signing up for a shift, please email Margaret Rooyakkers at rooyakkers_ml@mercer.edu.
Together, let’s help every Mercer student feel informed, empowered, and ready to participate in our democracy.
