The Minority Student Success Conference (MSSC) is an annual event sponsored by the Minority Mentor Program in collaboration with the Minority Student Success Committee. Every February, first and second year Mercerians are invited to partake in a conference to enjoy a keynote speaker and panel discussion followed by a scholarship presentation. Topics addressed at this event include: academic success, financial literacy, mental health & self-care, campus resources, connecting with faculty and more! A number of scholarships are awarded to attendees who submit an application and are chosen by the MSSC Scholarship Committee. For the past several years, the African American Alumni Association has supported this event and contributed funds used to award scholarships. This is a great opportunity for students to learn, network and connect with Minority Faculty, Staff & Alumni.
