The August 5 COP Research Seminar Series speaker will be our own Dr. Raquibul Hasan, who serves as Associate Professor of Pharmaceutical Sciences in the College of Pharmacy and Associate Professor of Biomedical Sciences in the School of Medicine. Dr. Hasan’s research focuses on physiology of the cardiometabovascular system and development of novel therapeutics for cardiovascular, metabolic and cerebrovascular diseases. His seminar, entitled “Rethinking Type 2 Diabetes: Is Endothelin-1 the Missing Therapeutic Target?” will be delivered in person on the Atlanta campus in MPHS155 from 3-4pm on 8/5, and all faculty, students, staff, and alumni are cordially invited to attend.
