Leadership requires decision-making. Some decisions are split-second responses and others entail slower, more reflective deliberations. Taking a mindful approach to decision-making can provide leaders with tools for intentional decision-making, resulting in more flexible thinking, greater openness to fresh interpretations, and increased sensitivity to context and ethics. This session will provide an overview of mindfulness as a tool for decision-making in leadership as well as specific mindfulness techniques that can be used.
