The Phi Beta Kappa Society’s Zeta Chapter of Georgia will welcome Dr. Lynn Pasquerella Sept. 14-15 to give the third annual Malcolm Lester Phi Beta Kappa Lectures on Liberal Arts and Public Life. The lectures will be presented virtually and made available through a public livestream at pbk.mercer.edu. Mercer University’s Spencer B. King Jr. Center for Southern Studies will award the 2020 Thomas Robinson Prize for Southern Literature to poet, short story writer and novelist Ron Rash. The prize will be presented Sept. 19 at 1 p.m. in a livestreamed ceremony at kingcenter.mercer.edu.
