Mercer On Mission is hosting the first annual Global Holiday Market! This festive event will feature unique, handmade, one-of-a-kind goods from around the world, including creations by local artisans, Mercer students, faculty, and staff. A highlight of the market is the Giving Tree, where visitors can support Mercer On Mission initiatives. Each ornament represents a specific project, such as clean water, healthcare, education, or economic development- allowing attendees to make a meaningful impact in communities across the globe. This holiday tradition, hosted by the Student Government Association, annually draws hundreds of students as well as faculty, staff and their families to Toney Auditorium in Willingham Hall. The Mercer Singers lead the audience in carols, the University minister offers a Christmas meditation, and faculty/staff members entertain the audience with a traditional Christmas reading. The event concludes with the lighting of the Mercer Christmas tree and is followed by Winter Wonderland in Mercer Village.
