Mercer alumna Tiffani Alexander presents a movie screening of her film "The Tale of 2 Music Cities." The screening will take place on October 5, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. in Willingham Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public. This is an official J.E.D.I.-Belonging Week Event.

Jill Neimark, science journalist, will speak on "Activism Can Work: When a Big Polluter Came Courting Macon, Here's How We Fought Back." Dr. Jennifer Barkin, professor of community medicine and OBGYN at the Mercer University School of Medicine, will speak on "Effects of Extreme Weather Events on Perinatal Mental Health." Wiggs Hall, a two-story, red brick building featuring four stately columns, is situated on the historic quad on the Macon campus. A recent renovation of this 120-year-old building at Mercer University has preserved much of the historic structure while simultaneously bringing it into the 21st century.
