Binary Bears Techie Talk & Season Recap

Hear from Mercer's own computer programming team, "The Binary Bears", which is made up of twenty students from Computer Science & Computer Engineering. The team traveled to two fall competitions, the CCSC competition at Auburn University on Oct. 25th and the ACM competition at Kennesaw State University on Nov. 9th. This talk will recap their season and highlight some of the interesting problems they have solved.

Service Saturday

Volunteers should meet in the Connell Student Center Lobby 30 minutes prior to the start of their shift. Volunteers should dress comfortably and wear closed-toe shoes. Mercer gear is encouraged. Third Annual Jordan Massee Lecture in Southern History and Culture

Mercer will host the third annual Jordan Massee Lecture in Southern History and Culture featuring a conversation with journalist and media executive Tom Johnson. Johnson, a Macon native, graduated from Lanier High School while working for the Macon Telegraph. He went on to earn a bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia and master’s degree from Harvard Business School before serving as a White House Fellow during the presidency of Lyndon B.
