Founders’ Day is an annual event organized by the Student Government Association, during which notable alumni address the student body and share their experiences in life and at the University. In the mid-1990s, the Student Government Association revitalized Founders’ Day on the Macon campus, making it one of the most cherished traditions.

Each March, Macon becomes a pink, cotton-spun paradise as hundreds of thousands of Yoshino cherry trees bloom in all their glory. Originally a sleepy Southern town, Macon has now become a bustling center of beauty and international friendship.

Enjoy delicious food with vegetarian options from food trucks offering a variety of flavors. Bearstock is put on by Quadworks, Mercer's student programming board, which has been putting on Bearstock for over 16 years. Each year, Quadworks hosts a variety of bands and well-known artists for a day of fun and enjoyment.
