This holiday tradition, hosted by the Student Government Association, annually draws hundreds of students as well as faculty, staff, and their families. The Mercer Singers lead the audience in carols, the University minister offers a Christmas meditation, and faculty/staff members entertain the audience with a traditional Christmas reading. The event concludes with the lighting of the Mercer Christmas tree and is followed by Winter Wonderland in Mercer Village.

MU Motion Moves classes take place every Thursday from 8-9:30 pm in the Fitness Center Meeting Room located inside of the UC Gym. A different style of dance is taught each week. Club members are notified of the style that will be taught through GroupMe. Our Saturday Visit offers students the chance to connect with some of our admissions counselors, receive an overview of Mercer, the admissions process, student life, and financial aid, as well as a student-led walking tour of campus.

Founders’ Day is an annual event organized by the Student Government Association, during which notable alumni address the student body and share their experiences in life and at the University. In the mid-1990s, the Student Government Association revitalized Founders’ Day on the Macon campus, making it one of the most cherished traditions.

Each March, Macon becomes a pink, cotton-spun paradise as hundreds of thousands of Yoshino cherry trees bloom in all their glory. Originally a sleepy Southern town, Macon has now become a bustling center of beauty and international friendship.

Join us on campus for a fun-filled showcase extravaganza featuring live student performances and local artists that will take you on a global journey. Enjoy delicious food with vegetarian options from food trucks offering a variety of flavors. Bearstock is put on by Quadworks, Mercer's student programming board, which has been putting on Bearstock for over 16 years. Each year, Quadworks hosts a variety of bands and well-known artists for a day of fun and enjoyment.
