This holiday tradition, hosted by the Student Government Association, annually draws hundreds of students as well as faculty, staff, and their families. The Mercer Singers lead the audience in carols, the University minister offers a Christmas meditation, and faculty/staff members entertain the audience with a traditional Christmas reading. The event concludes with the lighting of the Mercer Christmas tree and is followed by Winter Wonderland in Mercer Village.

MU Motion Moves classes take place every Thursday from 8-9:30 pm in the Fitness Center Meeting Room located inside of the UC Gym. A different style of dance is taught each week. Founders’ Day is an annual event organized by the Student Government Association, during which notable alumni address the student body and share their experiences in life and at the University. In the mid-1990s, the Student Government Association revitalized Founders’ Day on the Macon campus, making it one of the most cherished traditions.

Each March, Macon becomes a pink, cotton-spun paradise as hundreds of thousands of Yoshino cherry trees bloom in all their glory. Originally a sleepy Southern town, Macon has now become a bustling center of beauty and international friendship.

Bearstock is put on by Quadworks, Mercer's student programming board, which has been putting on Bearstock for over 16 years. Each year, Quadworks hosts a variety of bands and well-known artists for a day of fun and enjoyment.
