The inaugural Macon Music Half Marathon will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4, and part of the race course will take runners through the Macon campus. The race begins at Carolyn Crayton Park at 8 a.m. and should be completed by 11:30 a.m. During the race, certain roads and intersections will be closed, including Mercer University Drive/Little Richard Penniman Drive, Stadium Drive, Winship Street, Johnson Avenue, Montpelier Avenue and Adams Street.

The second annual Macon Music Half Marathon will be held on Saturday, Nov. 16, and part of the race course will take runners through the Macon campus.
