Do films have the power to break barriers, open minds, and transform lives? Discover the answer at the Africa Film Series, hosted by Dr. Obidoa and Sponsored by the Africana Studies Program and Quad Works. On October 18, students, faculty, staff, and the public are welcome to join us in Stetson 251 as we watch and discuss “Hidden Heart,” a film based on the true story of the first successful heart transplant in the world that happened in South Africa. Extra credit can be earned for diverse programs. Delicious refreshments will be served!
