Lauded for her musical confidence and "sparkling vocal pyrotechnics," lyric coloratura soprano Diana Thompson will perform a beguiling program of art songs, arias, and Broadway standards guaranteed to delight. Featured on the program will be Ms. Thompson's haunting portrayal of the "Mad Scene" from Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor.

Diana Thompson will lead a select group of Mercer University voice majors in a master class that touches on vocal technique, acting for vocalists, lyric diction, vocal artistry, musicianship, and other areas of interest pertinent to the development of the pre-professional voice. The master teacher's instruction will be specifically tailored to the needs of the individual student.
