Díana Thompson-Brewer, soprano Christopher Cooley, piano Lyric coloratura soprano, Díana Thompson-Brewer returns to the Mercer University School of Music to perform at first sight, a song cycle that chronicles the life of a woman through the lens of what it means to love a black man in America. The song cycle will be paired with Robert Schumann’s Frauenliebe und Leben. Thompson-Brewer is joined by pianist Christopher Cooley, composer of at first sight.
