The Scholarship of Sport Speaker Series engages leaders across various disciplines within the sports industry to reflect on their experiences; share their insights; and connect with students, faculty, alumni, and the business and professional communities. The series will include an interactive component, providing an opportunity for our attendees to join in conversation with the speakers and join in scholarly initiatives.

The Women's Rights Are Human Rights exhibition features international posters on gender-based inequality, violence and discrimination. There will be an interdisciplinary discussion panel on the topic at 4:30-5:30 p.m. Jan. 26 in the Connell Student Center, Conference Room 2. Founders’ Day began in 1891 and was created as a celebration of Jesse Mercer’s birthday. During the mid-1990s, the Student Government Association brought Founders’ Day back to the Macon campus as one of the most cherished traditions.
