Join the Hispanic Health Organization (HHO), the Latin American Student Organization (LASO), and Spanish Club in celebrating Día de Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) by attending our informational presentation and eating cultural foods while watching The Book of Life. After the movie, we will have games where you could win some cultural prizes!

Read for the Record brings together millions of adults and children around the world to read the same book on the same day in order to raise awareness about the critical importance of early literacy. This year, join MerServe as we Read for the Record on October 28,2021, with the book "Amy Wu and the Patchwork Dragon!" Registration will open on October 18.

Launched in October 2000, Lights On Afterschool is the only nationwide event celebrating afterschool programs and their important role in the lives of children, families, and communities. MerServe participates in Lights on Afterschool by hosting fun and engaging art, STEM, and sports activities throughout local elementary and middle schools. The School to Prison Pipeline is a disturbing national trend where children are funneled out of public school and into the juvenile and criminal Justice system. Join us Thursday, October 28 at 7:13pm in Stetson 243 for a riveting conversation. The first 25 people to enter will receive a canvas to paint as they take part in this event!
