Local artists and Mercer students will perform for families and Mercer students. We will work with Mercer Music and Lyrics if possible and we will provide food for people attending. We will connect with Mercer students to provide live performances like singing, rapping, dancing, and poetry for entertainment.

Men's soccer opens Southern Conference play against VMI.

The Bears face VMI in their Southern Conference home opener. Mercer's first home game against a SoCon opponent will be on September 30 when VMI makes its way down to Macon. It will be Family Weekend as all families of Mercer students are encouraged to attend.

Dr. Heather Williams will lead a series of three lectures on "Writing Histories of 19th Century African Americans." All lectures will be held in the Presidents Dining Room in the University Center on Mercer University's Macon campus.
